Government’s travel ban on South Korea extended to Feb. 3

Government has expanded its transitory travel prohibition on non-Ghanaian worldwide appearances from South Korea.

In a previous dispatch, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration noticed that the movement prohibition on South Korea will most recent 14 days.

In any case, in its new proclamation, the Ministry says the prohibition on South Korea has been modified and will go on until February 3, 2022.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of the Republic of Ghana wishes to illuminate the overall population that the public authority of Ghana has broadened the transitory travel limitation on all non-Ghanaian voyagers showing up from South Korea, until February 3, 2022.”

Consequently, individuals from the overall population have been asked to observe the order and stick to it appropriately.

On December 20, 2021, the movement limitation on Israel, South Korea, and Malta produced results.

As per the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the mediation is in accordance with the public authority’s drive to control the importation of the Omicron variation of the Covid-19 into the country.

In the public statement dated December 17, on the prohibition on Israel, the public authority expressed that all movement back and forth Israel is confined “besides in uncommon helpful cases or during true visits.”

It added that “consent would need to be acquired from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration in uncommon cases.”

Remarking on the prohibition on Malta, the public authority contended that it doesn’t perceive any immunization endorsement from Malta.
